Guide for Unwrapping dRYFTs

If you’ve finished using the utility, artwork, collection perks, or benefits of your dRYFT Hybrid NFT and would like to unwrap your tokens, this guide will walk you through the process.

Unwrapping allows you to remove the tokens from the dRYFT Hybrid NFT so you can sell them, move them elsewhere, or simply hold them directly in your wallet.

This guide is for you.

Step 1: Make sure you are on the collection page of the dRYFT Hybrid NFT you want to unwrap. We will use this collection for this guide: https://app.entertheryft.com/wrapper-detail/8453/0x3fcf63f1d9af0475ddc73f9bdfaf01c4594424ab

Make sure you understand any unwrap tax or native unwrap fee that may apply before proceeding. Some collections intentionally discourage unwrapping and may set a higher tax.

In this example, the unwrap tax is 0%.

This example from the Miggles team demonstrates a collection with a 3% fee on both wrapping and unwrapping, in addition to a native network fee paid in ETH for each action.

Always review both the token-based fees and any native fees before proceeding, as they can apply independently to wrapping and unwrapping.

Step 2: Next, scroll down to the Wrap / Unwrap section located in the bottom middle of the screen.

Select Unwrap, and the unwrapping interface will be displayed.

Here, you can select the number of dRYFT Hybrid NFTs you want to unwrap from your wallet in order to retrieve the tokens or assets contained inside. If you do not see your dRYFTs go to the Wrapping dRYFTsguide for a comprehensive breakdown of how to find your dRYFTs.

Step 3: Once you have selected how many dRYFTs you want to take your tokens out of. You will click the Unwrap button and see this pop up. This step authorizes the withdrawal of tokens from the selected dRYFT Hybrid NFT(s).

Step 4: After you confirm the withdrawal request, you will be presented with the unwrap transaction.

Once this transaction is confirmed, the tokens will be removed from the dRYFT Hybrid NFT. In the current MVP, these dRYFTs are returned to the collection pool, making them available for another collector or dRYFTer to wrap.

Step 5: Check that you have successfully Unwrapped Check your wallet to confirm that the tokens have been returned after the unwrapping process is complete.

Step 6: You have successfully unwrapped your dRYFT Hybrid NFT(s).

• Unwrap dRYFTs confidently, completing the full lifecycle of collecting and engaging with dRYFTs
